The Estruagua Combi Pro is a compact pretreatment plant designed to integrate, within a single stainless steel structure, the steps of automatic screening and grit removal (desanding). This solution eliminates the need to build multiple separate chambers, drastically reducing the required civil footprint and simplifying operation and maintenance.
With a robust, fully stainless steel configuration, the Combi Pro is installed on a concrete foundation and connected directly to the collection system. Coarse solids retained by the screen are transported by an inclined screw conveyor, while sand settled in the grit chamber is removed by a dedicated extraction system, ensuring the downstream treatment stages receive effluent free from abrasive materials.

Raw effluent enters through the inlet duct and passes through the screening module, where coarse and fibrous solids are retained by the inclined screen. The automatic cleaning mechanism, driven by an electric motor, continuously collects the retained material and feeds it to the inclined screw conveyor, which discharges the waste into a container or skip.
After screening, the effluent flows into the grit chamber, where controlled flow velocity promotes the settling of sand, gravel and mineral particles. The accumulated grit at the conical bottom of the chamber is extracted by a classifier screw, dewatered and discharged in a controlled manner, preventing build-up and blockages in the downstream processes.
